Polyether polyols are organic compounds with multiple hydroxy group (-OH), formed through the polymerisation of Propylene Oxide. They are commonly used in the production of flexible foams for beds, furniture and automotive seats as well as in Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) applications.
Slabstock polyols, together with isocyanates, are the primary ingredients used for the production of flexible foam blocks that goes into a wide range of foam products such as mattresses and furniture. Aster’s slabstock polyols comes in a variety of molecular weights and structures to meet your application requirements and processing needs. Other than Conventional polyols, we also offer High Resilience polyols to produce foams with improved comfort characteristics and Viscoelastic polyols to produce memory foams for better pressure distribution.

Moulding polyols are used in flexible moulded applications such as automotive seatings and furniture. Aster offers a range of moulding polyols with high reactivity for faster curing and lower VOC for better emissions control. Foam properties can be tuned through the adjustment of formulation and other parameters.
